I'm David Thackeray, a Chilean creative based in the United States.

I began my career as a copywriter before moving into creative leadership roles, including Creative Director. Throughout my career, I've developed integrated 360° campaigns spanning digital, social, film, print, experiential, and other brand touchpoints.

I've worked with brands and organizations such as Red Bull, Sanofi, Dupixent, Santander, Volvo, Ford, UNICEF, and Amnesty International.

My experience goes beyond traditional advertising. I'm also a hands-on marketer and builder, with experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns, developing websites and conversion funnels, and creating automations and custom workflows for local businesses.

I also work extensively with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code. Most recently, I created Orac Voice (repo here), a free, locally run speech-to-text application. I originally built it for my wife, who needed a private tool that could turn her voice into written text without sending sensitive information to external servers.

This combination of creative direction, integrated campaign experience, performance marketing, and technical execution allows me to take ideas from strategy and concept through production, implementation, and launch.
